Visage thin client works on Mac OS X

November 24, 2009

Visage Imaging says it will introduce at the RSNA meeting the world’s first thin client PACS with native Mac support. Visage 7, the company’s new generation diagnostic imaging IT product, is designed to serve as a “thin viewing layer” on top of an existing PACS. It can also serve as a turnkey solution serving as a radiology information system and archive, as well as a viewing, and post processing workstation.  Visage 7 is based on a new generation of the Visage thin client technology, which has been optimized for speed and versatility, as well as extended to natively support the Mac OS X platform, according to the company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pro Medicus.
